Courses

  • Are there any deadlines or time restrictions for the course?

    Our courses are designed for you to take and complete at your own pace. There are no deadlines or time restrictions, and you have the ability to jump around to whichever sections and lessons you want. Your access to an Horizon Institute course will not expire.

  • Can I only access the course at certain times?

    Once purchased, the courses can be accessed online, on-demand, at any time of day or night.

  • Are they live lessons?

    Horizon Institute lessons are not live: they’re comprised of pre-recorded video instruction (in addition to downloadable materials and templates). You will have the ability to "rewind" as needed and watch lessons at a time and place that’s most convenient for you.

  • What sort of learning materials are in Horizon courses?

    The Horizon Institute courses offer video lessons presented by selected and qualified professionals in each specific field (e.g., Investing in Shares course is taught by a former hedge fund analyst with years of experience). In addition to the video lessons, courses offer interactive and downloadable materials to both aid in your understanding of the course content and use "on the job."

  • Are courses available offline?

    All course content can be downloaded for offline access.

  • How long will the courses take?

    Each course varies in completion time. Please see specific detail pages for each course to learn more. You may take as long as you want to complete each course and there are no deadlines.

Payments

  • What payment methods are accepted?

    We accept PayPal, Visa and most major debit and credit cards.

  • Will you provide a refund if I am not happy with the course?

    Yes, we are more than happy to provide any customer a refund if they are not satisfied with the material or presentation. The conditions are simple:

    1. Requests for a refund must be made within 30 days of purchase and
    2. The student must have completed less than 50% of the course. With both conditions met, we will be happy to process your refund request.
  • Do you offer any discounts on your courses?

    Yes, we provide reduced pricing for all of our courses for students, active military/military veterans and those eligible for Welsh Government ReAct funding.

  • I am outside of UK; can I still buy Horizon courses?

    Yes, our courses are available internationally and can be purchased and downloaded from anywhere in the world that has an internet connection.

  • How can I create a customer account?

    You can create a customer account in the shop. You can do that either during an order process or here.

  • How can I reset my password?

    If you forget your password just follow this link to recover it.

  • Where can i change my Password or Email Address?

    You can change your Password or Email Address in the Customer Account. Go to Customer Account -> Profile.

  • Where can i download purchased products?

    You can download your purchased products in the Customer Account. Go to Customer Account -> Instant downloads and download a specific product.

  • What if I experience any technical difficulties with the course or have further questions?

    If you are having any issues with anything involving The Horizon Institute, just email support@hioim.com and we will get back to you within 1-2 business days to address your questions or concerns.
